A (possible) Mahāyāna sūtra on SuttaCentral

Oh, so he does. I was too focused on scrolling downwards. Speaking of hidden treasures, sutras like this are literary gems. It still amazes me how much is still sitting in Chinese waiting to be translated yet.

Just the poetry alone has got me. Stanza after stanza of mantra-like repetition. It reminds me of the Āṭānāṭiya in a way (which I love chanting!). I also like the way they expanded on the standing still theme from the original and turned it into “abiding in the teachings, precepts, etc.” And I really don’t go in for Mahāyāna literature–especially not tathāgatagarbha. But they are good poets! (But, wait! wasn’t that the prophecy, though?)

Yeah, anyway, it’s just really good literature.
