Here is the playlist of video recordings of the recently concluded annual meditation retreat in Malaysia.
The first video is that of Reverend Kai Xi, a Mahayana monk in Penang. He’s a student of Ajahn Brahm for decades. See if you can spot his impersonation of Ajahn Brahm in the video. He’s a great impersonator.
The retreat was held at the Penang Buddhist Association in conjunction with their centennial celebration. It’s not common to see Theravada and Mahayana monks working together for a retreat in this part of the world. Hopefully, there will be more of such synergy in the future.
