Rains retreat sutta class for novice monks and anagarikas at Bodhinyana Monastery in 2010

Dhamma talks by Ajahn Brahm during the rains retreat given specifically for novice monks and anagarikas. This class spans two rains retreats and alternatingly covers topics from ‘Word of the Buddha’ anthology and from the first ten suttas of the Majjhima Nikaya. Thank you :heart:, I benefited from all these talks enormously myself so I see this as a way to pay it forward. There are still some deeper talks to monastics coming up, carrying an even greater punch and giving a lot of incentive to practice—getting straight to the point of developing nibbida, viraga, nirodha, nibbana—especially for one that gradually elects a more and more secluded style of living in the society.

I see you have plans for the monastic talks. I was under the impression that they aren’t for general distribution. Of course if they have been published by the BSWA on Deeper Dhamma or YouTube then you’re fine. However, I was personally requested not to share such material s

Thanks a lot for all classics, and is it so that one is a bit alone in constantly going back to basics? I’ve heard it all before …!?!, and still when I listen some more to the same talk, other tidbits of dhamma reveals it self?
