AN10.216 We are our karma: talk by Piya Tan

Samsappaniya Pariyaya Sutta (AN10.216)

The Saṁsappanīya Pariyāya Sutta is a poetically colourful presentation of karma. It opens with a statement on the “figure of crawling,” followed by a famous statement that “beings are heirs to our karma.” The Sutta is then very neatly divided into two “cycles”: the unwholesome karmic courses [§§3.1-4.9] and the wholesome karmic courses [§§5.1-6.9].
