Annual Conference for SuttaCentral?

Hello esteemed friends,

Recently, I introduced SuttaCentral, Discuss & Discover, and Bilara to a friend, highlighting the site’s features, its translation process, and our vibrant community. He was really impressed and inquired about an annual gathering, perhaps a conference with speakers, interviews, reports, and the likes. I thought that was rather a good idea… No pressure :laughing:.

Ha ha, good idea, thanks for offering to organize it!

We’re having a book launch event in December to celebrate Ven Brahmali’s publication of the Vinaya. That’ll be in Sydney, so local peeps look out for deets.

But yeah, conferences have been discussed a number of times, the only limiting factors being time, money, and people. But if we can overcome that, I’ll be there!

We haven’t set the dates for our trip yet, but it would be great that we could be there. Could you please tell us the date and where to contact to attend?

@Dheerayupa It’s in my diary for Sunday Dec 9th. 9am at the NSW State Library. With 2 hours of Dhamma talk in the afternoon. Do come! It would be great to hang out with you. :smile:
