I loved Venerable Vimalanyani Bhikkhuni’s Dhamma Doodles from days gone by. I have one of them in my sitting area to inspire me.

Thank you for this thread! I love Ayya Vimalanyani Doodle too! The cutest simile of the raft and the further shore I have ever seen! 
Ayya’s Doodles always makes my heart sing and brighten up my day! We are so blessed with Ayya’s creativity!!

Applied Art of Kintsugi - Scented miniature candles.
I made these by reusing left over candle wax from tea- and other burnt out commercial candles, little glasses from Vinnies Op-shop, a few drops of natural essential oils and fragments of dried plant parts. The wicks I made from offcuts of embroidery thread that I twined to make it thicker. One candle is placed on a small chipped ceramic plate that I decorated with a simple picture to include the chip in the display.
I intend to show these on 13 September at the upcoming Rookwood Cemetery 150th Anniversary celebration and the Buddhist Council stall. Making these candles was a reflective meditation activity,. It inspired me to remember and reflect on the early Buddha’s disciples, both monastic and lay who came from outcaste or slave families - Sunita, Sopaka, … May all beings be well and happy, free from suffering.
