No permission is needed to translate something on your own. If you can explain more about what your project is we can direct you to the proper people if that is needed.
Hello, in order to have the translation on Suttacentral, starting from Bilara app, read translation guide at Guide for translators · suttacentral/bilara-data Wiki · GitHub which stated the need to discuss the texts (which is MN118 already separately translated into estonian) for the project to be set up. And then the need to contact Sujato venerable via private message. Would be nice to start entering the texts into Bilara, of course, in any way.

You can invite Bhante Sujato to your message, and perhaps @carmi as well, as she is the one who would set up your project. In case there are any questions regarding the use of Bilara (once your project is set up), I am happy to help as I can.
