Assistance with Pali Study Resources

Please I have a few requests as I begin my journey into Pali:

  1. Where can I purchase the complete Pali Canon?
  2. Could you recommend an app featuring the Pali Canon (specifically the Nikayas) to assist with language learning? I am looking for an immersive training experience to learn Pali using the Canon directly within the app

I would greatly appreciate your guidance and input. I also plan to adjust my schedule (Brasília Time) to join the Pali classes next year.

Thank you very much.

PTS should be your best bet, I think. However, most of the Tipitaka is freely available on SuttaCentral as a PDF to download and for you to find a printer? But yeah, for everything else (or should high quality hardcover books), PTS is probably the way to go.

Entire Canon, though?

Tipitaka Pali Reader is probably your best bet. It’s really just the Pāli Canon as it is, though.

Anki Cards is another way to go. Bhante @NgXinZhao had some amazing decks:

Please how to use Anki Deck in PTS?

Erm, PTS is Pāli Text Society:

Anki is an Android app. So they’re different domains.

There is this website where it lets you see the Pali translated segment by segment into English. And you can click on the Pali words and it gives you the meaning in English. Is this the kind of thing you are looking for?

I’m sure we could find you a site like that. If that’ isn’t what you are looking for, perhaps you could explain more.

That’s basically SuttaCentral, isn’t it? And if you also want to listen to the Pali (and/or translation), that’s probably SC-Voice.net. Maybe there are others as well.
