Begging for alms is a lowly livelihood

I recall reading a Dhamma statement in the Tipitaka, likely from the Vinaya Pitaka, which conveys a meaning similar to: “Begging for alms is seen as a lowly means of livelihood, but to achieve a great goal, one may need to undertake even humble tasks.” Can someone provide the accurate statement from the Tipitaka where the Buddha expresses this sentiment? Regards to all !! with my head in the feet of Sangha !!

Wonderful Sir, You are great !!! That was exactly I was looking for .. !!! Accept my Salute in your feet !!! You are a true Bahusutta !!!

This is so similar to Tāyanasutta SN 2.8. Are there any other similar suttas that warn monks of the consequences of wasted holy life?
