The Ven. Bodhi of New York will be celebrating his 80th birthday this sunday, december 10.
The German Buddha Talk Iniative will be recording a birthday greeting to BB on Zoom at 10:00 CET and feature German speaking individuals who have met Bhikkhu Bodhi.
Maybe we will hear of other similar online events in English to celebrate BB’s birthday. Why not post them right here? 
I never realized his birthday was the day after Bhante Gunaratana’s who turns 97 this year.

Very good! It seems the birthday ritual for Bhikkhu Bodhi is located in a Chinese Buddhist temple in the US!?
Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel Hamlet NY serves as the headquarters of BAUS (Buddhist Association of the United States) of which BB is chair.
This is such a touching video! And we get to see all of the people in Bhikkhu Bodhi’s circle who support him in so many ways. And all of his students including our own @stephen !
