This is Barney, (who I rescued from being sent to the knackery) … bowing his head to the Buddha
He has been my much loved loyal lawnmower for the past decade.
Another of my rescues - Mort - ringtail possum
He had an accidental encounter with a chainsaw on my property.
Once it was realised that a possum family were living there the clearing stopped.
Luckily, I have a wildlife licence and vet nursing qualifications so was able to get him on antibiotics and rehab him myself ( the vet wanted to euthanise him) He was only 130 grams and had to be bottle fed every few hours until he grew up enough to eat solids.
… and finally I got him back in the trees
Cats understand the energy only too well!
Looking at the one to the right, I am glad that I am not a mouse.
Stunningly beautiful. But I believe your leather couch lives a dangerous life.
Lol, it does, but between kids and multiple pets, I don’t buy fabric couches anymore. I won’t even buy a car with fabric seats either. Actually I ripped all the carpet out the house and fully tiled it too. Only easy cleaned surfaces for me
Me too. The first thing we do when we buy a new home is take out all the carpeting (if there is any) and tile it all. Easy to clean and better for those with allergies.
We had leather sofas and the cats scratched them up all over. Knowing they’d do the same if we replaced them, we just stayed with them with all the scratches.
