I have a pet rat named āCheezus Crust the Mouseiahā
I love naming pets weird names, ā¦ but your rat totally wins!
Reminds me of a funny one when I once āforcedā a cat on my dad and he named it what was more a sound than a word. Very funny when we took it to the vet and they wanted to enter itās details in to the computer, asked for its name and my dad kept making a sound completely confusing the vet nurse who didnāt get the sound WAS itās name. We ended up settling on āRat-atā to enter in to the computer
Omg thanks for the laugh, both at your Rat and the memory it brought up
The bird looks familiar, but not itās name. Whatās your locality?
New Zealand/Aotearoa - but despite the Kiwi being our national bird, Iāve never seen one in the wild. That little dude (or dudette perhaps) is the best I can do!
They are in Aotearoa and OZ @Gillian
Hereās a new sign @Gillian that I havenāt seen before, but a local wildlife rescue is asking for volunteers to let them be attached to their letter boxes.
Good idea coz sometimes Koalas are just sitting on the road taking their sweet time to actually cross it. I donāt care, I just stop, put the cars hazard lights on and cause a traffic jam while I wait for them to do their thing
Omgš ā¦ what can I say except, I have kids, ā¦and poor Mooky. At least my daughter had the courtesy of plastic wrapping the inside instead of making his fur sticky whilst she laughed her head off.
Strange child
It looks like itās locally made.
What a great idea!
Wow, so much close up detail ā¦. And he looks like he is wearing a pair of aviator sunnies
From L to R:
Rosie
Chuckie
Buddy
Rosie and Chuckie are half-siblings. They are about 14 months old now.
Buddy is about five months old now.
We decided to take in Buddy because Rosie cycles in and out of feline congestion, which takes her energy way down at times. Didnāt want Chuckie to be left without a playmate.
A touching article by Joseph Earp about Bob, his dying pet rat.
