“Uncle Samsara”… Brilliant piece of comic commentary! Would like to see this posted in its own thread, perhaps “Watercooler”? Thank you for posting :wheel_of_dharma:

I’m glad you like it! I only have the screenshot I don’t have a link because I made it myself and just took a screenshot. You are welcome to save it as an image file!

I did tell the person who posted this cartoon that bliss usually comes before serenity.

Woody Allen, Love & Death, 1975 (one of my favorite scenes here) The line “[the world] is just one enormous restaurant” is right before this clip begins, so to see it, you’ll have to watch the film.

That’s a wonderful talk by Thanissaro Bhikkhu. And a very good cartoon! Thank you for sharing! :slightly_smiling_face:

Ha! Sounds pretty mainstream these days. There’s a "meditation” app all about sitting listening to ambient beats as meditating. That trance is gonna bring life changing tranquility and insight, eh?

“Serenity’s cool and all, but when do we get to bliss?”
When you’ve abandoned all mental defilements!
