Dear all,
A Bhante in one of the local monasteries I go to asked me to create a textbook for his Sunday school children.
I was hoping to maybe open this and see if there are anyone interested in helping to contribute, either in illustrations, writing, proofreading, fact-checking, publishing etc.
I am an amateur writer and artist myself and have done a first draft on the first topic as attached below as a trial. Can change further. May also add quizzes and word games.
I hope together with the help of everyone, we can eventually cover all the topics and expand on them further in the future if needed.
Children are the next generation, but I often feel they are neglected. I hope they are inspired to learn about Buddhism and I feel it is important for them to have a fundamental understanding and interest.
Tentatively, the aim is to make this a free ebook for all and also available for print on demand for anyone around the world.
