I find The Buddhist Cosmos (Punnadhammo Mahāthero) useful as a cosmological picture painted using canonical sources. However, I find my printed copy a little hard to navigate as it has no index and many of the page numbers in the ToC are incorrect.
Is there a similar project on SC that gathers together canonical references to Buddhist cosmology and links to their sources?

Not really, as I like to read off-screen (although the PDF was what prompted me to buy the printed version).
It’s not a huge deal as I can correct the page numbers and create my own index. I think I checked SC before and concluded that there isn’t currently anything equivalent. However, I thought I’d double-check as I suspect the toolchain used here would avoid the indexing and cross-referencing limitations I noticed today.

Yes, SC has great tools for research.
I haven’t learned how to use them all yet, but I think someone from the team can explain it better and tell you which one would be best for you.

Are you familiar with the CIPS? Comprehensive Index of Pāli Suttas
It’s not an index to that book, but an index to the suttas (EBTs). Might be helpful.

I wasn’t and it is.
Thanks.
