Buddhist philosophy of mathematics

Apart from EBT’s, one of my other perennial interests is the philosophy of mathematics.

I have often wondered about a “Buddhist” approach to this subject but never really come across anything.

I can see how Platonism would be on the face of it wildly antagonistic to Buddhism, so I guess a Buddhist philosophy of mathematics would be anti-realist, but I imagine that the Buddha might reject fictionalise too…

Is anyone aware of any scholarship in this area?

Metta

I remember an Abhidhamma teacher saying, mathematicians are good at Abhidhamma.

People who are lazy in maths may not be very good at it, he remarked.
