Building a pali-english rendition of Visuddhimagga

At my level of knowledge, it’s difficult to read the pali visuddhimagga straight up, and with Ñāṇamoli Bhikkhu’s translation it’s not always easy to guess which pali idea is meant by the english term. so cutting and pasting them together in my own document. Does anyone know if this is already available, and if so where? This is in reference to a course we’ve started at the Empty Cloud Monastery led by Bhante Sumitta and Dhamma USA.

Оглавление has the entire Vsm, with Venerable Ñāṇamoli’s translation aligned with the Pali. It’s really great and I’ve found it really helpful to navigate between the difficult Pali and the somewhat equally dense English. It’s great if you know enough Pali to be able to read along and get some of the nuance that gets lost in English. High recommendations!

Note it’s a Russian site but in the upper right hand corner there’s the option to switch it to English.

Providing high-quality machine-readable Visuddhimagga and Vimuttimagga , plus several machine-generated electronic editions (such as HTML, ePub, PDF). The primary focus is English reader, not Pali scholar.

Wow! That’s a great resource! Indeed, seeing it side-by-side, sometimes the Pāli is clearer than the English  Thanks for sharing it!

This table version worked great for our class, especially since some of the students are working with the Ñāṇananda’s English translation and helpful to see the exact crosswalk between that one and the pāli.

I had a similar experience when I wanted to read a few passages from the Paṭisambhidhāmagga. For the most part, the Pali was actually easier than Venerable Ñāṇamoli’s translation. But his translation was great for a helpful nudge in parts I got stuck on.
