I think we’re just trying to find out what the Buddha really taught. I don’t think the Buddha threw anyone out. It’s all reason and explanation! However he had a strict approach towards his own bhikkhus.

This is not a Theravada place. Its for EBT oriented discussion, which are texts that are important for all Buddhists.
Rejection of non-buddhist views is one thing, but claiming that the views of other fellow buddhists are nonsense, and doing so categorically without any evidence or proper argumentation, is pretty bad IMO and should be called out, which is what I did. It’s not “political correctness” to call out what I see as a blatantly wrong and sectarian statement.
