Little though one recites the sacred texts,
but puts the Teaching into practice,
forsaking lust, hatred, and delusion,
with true wisdom and an emancipated mind,
clinging to nothing of this or any other world –
One indeed partakes of the blessings of a holy life.
Vipassanā Version:
Even for a little recitation/reading of the holy texts,
but teaching into practice,
detachment from lust, hatred, and delusion,
with true wisdom and emancipation of mind,
clinging to nothing of the current and any other world,
--
indeed, partaking of the blessings of holy life.
So, how about the Teaching in the Vipassanā way: Any corrections or advice?
