Digital copy of Pubbasikkhāvaṇṇanā?

(Ven?) @Sikkhakamo mentioned this Thai (Vinaya?) subcommentary here:

as being a key text for the Thai Forest Tradition. Does anyone here have a digital copy of this text?

Thanks!

Bhante,

This is an OCR-generated digital version produced by the monks at Mahachula University.

But as far as I know it hasn’t been proofread, so it might be a good idea to get a scanned copy as well.

And for an account of the influence of this text in the early Ajahn Mun tradition (and why it was preferred over the Vinayamukha), see pages 134-6 of Jim Taylor’s Forest Monks and the Nation-State.

Big anumodana, @REddison !

The tone marks are encoded strangely in the OCR version, but at least it’s consistent. And thankfully the OCR version has the same pagination as the scan so there’s no issues comparing the two.

Works well enough! Thanks so much!
