Do you have any references in the Tipitaka about Sakyamuni Buddha's journey of life?

I have heard it before, and read in the Bhikkhu Nanamoli book (the refference written in M. 26, 36, 85, 100) that Alara Kalama attain of the base consisting of nothingness and Udakka Ramaputta attain of the base consisting of neither perception nor non peception.
