Just sutta-wise there are passages that say that after some time in hell the bad kamma is exhausted (I don’t remember the suttas just now).
Anyhow, I think you demand answers from the suttas that they don’t have. They mean to inspire or shock, show a way, convert, strengthen faith and devotion etc. Their goal is not to provide a cosmology that makes sense to devotees of the 21 century.
I think you are assuming too many things about me through some texts on a computer screen.
I dont know how you can make such a categorical statement. For my self i was just curios. I was trying to find out what the suttas say. It does not mean i believe it. Well, not yet any way.
