Help with Tibetan parallels

https://suttacentral.net/d?view=normal&lang=en

gives parallels for Kanjur texts. they are given by strings like

“D 1: kha101a”

and

“D 1: nga258a”

and

“D 38”

I assume that D means Dege Kanjur, and 1 means volume 1 and 38 means volume 38, and I guess “258a” etc refer to individual fascicles. I am wondering how to decipher “kha” and “nga” and “ka” parts?

thanks for any help.

I have often wondered the same thing!

Does anyone know what the source of these parallels is? was there a book that made the claims originally?

Ok so ive figured out they are teansliteratuons of tibetan letters, but i still cant work out what they indicate about the text?
