How does the staff and carrying net work for alms round?

In the Khandakas we see the option for sick monastic who is unable to carry their bowl to use a staff and carrying net on alms round (after performing a sangha kamma).

I’ve been trying to imagine how this would work without the bowl swinging around everywhere. Has anyone seen this in action? I assume it’s not like a hobo and their bindle?

Well, there’s also a motion for each separately so they seem to be usable independently. Perhaps the net is more like a backpack? :backpack: That would be convenient on some of my alms rounds!

You are the second person today to suggest to me a pindapat backpack!
