I just highlight the text I want and click the Quote button…

The quote button appears above the highlighted bit of text - generated by SC. You can also do it the old fashioned way by cut and paste.
When using the quote button, ensure that it is cued on a separate line or it will mess with your txt

I’m really enjoying using the Discourse software. More traditional (20th Century-style) bulletin board software has lots of menus and information displayed, whereas this software tries to just display what the user is likely to want to do next, and to do the most logical thing without having to ask (e.g. going to the first unread post of a thread). However, I found that it took some getting used to at first, and was wondering where all the options where…
