Hi @TheSynergist, click on the three dots in the top right corner. A menu will pop up. Scroll down to the bottom, and click on Discuss

Thank you for the response @Robbie! May I suggest that the link be more conspicuous (as it was before)? I suspect I’m not going to be the only person who’s going to struggle to find it buried in the tool bar.

I’m not an SC developer, but you’re welcome to address your concern in the feedback category. I suspect we’ll see a feedback thread for the new website quite soon.

Yes, we’ll open a feedback thread soon, just a few days to recover!

I took the forum icon off the top bar because it was getting too crowded, especially on mobile. Also, it’s done its job: the forum is quite healthy and well-established, so we don’t need to promote it as much as we did.

@sujato
In my opinion Dhamma Vicaya (discussion)is one of the most important.

Can you provide a textual reference that indicates that the awakening factor of investigation of principles corresponds to discussion of teachings ?

As far as I understand the only support to discussing the teachings is found when Buddha advocates alternatives to idle chatter / pointless talk.

The alternatives are to either talk about the four Noble Truths or about ten topics: fewness of wishes, contentment, seclusion, aloofness, arousing energy, ethics, immersion, wisdom, freedom, and the knowledge and vision of freedom.

As a developer that makes sense. However from the standpoint of the individual, its hard to justify saying it’s not important for the people who have not found the forum to find it. Unless the purpose of the forum was purely to get feedback on the main site. If that is the case, then it’s probabaly true that you have more feedback than you can handle. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Perhaps I used the wrong term.
I just want to mention that Sutta Discussion is a very important matter and should be promoted.

And every five days we sit together for the whole night and discuss the teachings.
