Is there a traditional sutta reading schedule?

Good evening!

This may be tangential to the actual content of the Early texts found here, but I was wondering if there were any extent traditions surrounding reading the suttas in an orderly way? E.g., Sefaria, a project very similar to this one except which presents the Torah and Tanakh, has a Learning Schedule tool which presents for some set time period (week; day) a portion of one of the texts (Torah; Tanakh; and also sections from traditional commentary) hosted on the site following some schedule.

I know that the main website hosts a page Getting Started that has a subsection Structured courses and guides which lists several published books that (from looking at the first, though of course that is too small of a sample to make this judgment) presents excerpts from the texts hosted here. But is there a tool on this site that provides a similar functionality to the Learning schedule tool listed above?

P.S.: I’m not sure which category that this post should be listed under. Please let me know if this is the improper category so I know in the future where to posts questions like this one, if I have one again, that conform with this forums standards

Welcome hanleyc01,

You might take a look at https://readingfaithfully.org/ for some suggestions, including this linked list of suttas from Bhikkhu Bodhi’s anthology In the Buddha’s Words: In the Buddha’s Words: An Anthology of Discourses from the Pali Canon Linked to SuttaCentral.net – Reading Faithfully

The latter is a collection of suttas that will give you some idea of the breadth of the early texts. Note that you can download Bhikkhu Bodhi’s introductory material for each chapter as an ebook, but you’ll need to use the website links for the suttas themselves.
