Is there a way to turn this off?

i’ve noticed that since the update these tags are everywhere … they’re not useful and they cloud things especially when working with the text

I think it seems you’ve turned on the references:

From the top View panel, try setting the references to “None”?

There hasn’t been an update that involves this feature. More likely you accidentally hit the keyboard shortcut r that turns them on and off.

or clicked on a link that had them turned on?

No, that should not do that. Turn the setting on and off, that is. It used to work that way so if it does now then we have a problem.

But yes, if you click on a link that has the params set then you will see them for that page. Good point.

The keyboard shortcuts are not so new, but they aren’t well documented. You can see them in the view menu:

I find the v extremely useful.

Mash the keyboard and see what happens?

The V, M, and N are in high rotation for me.
I can’t for the life of me remember the next sutta/prev sutta keys, even though I requested them

I’m not sure that ever got implemented on the main site. @Khemarato.bhikkhu do you remember?

In the SC Extension it is the left and right arrows. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a Mac developer who could port the extension to Safari.

I just went back and looked at my suggestion.
It was < and > or , and .
It seems that it never got legs.

That’s correct. I didn’t implement those.

I only added: M N I O P R S V
