They’re letting people into Thailand?

Yin di dawn rap glap!

I love how round the handwriting is on that mural. Really highlights the connection with other SEA scripts :slightly_smiling_face:

@Gillian, if they let me in, I think they’ll let anyone in. Actually, the country “opened” under the Thailandpass system, so if you have been vaccinated, you apply through the system and wait to see if they send you the “Thailandpass” QR document. Then one needs to book a one day hotel quarantine at designated hotels, and get tested again in Thailand. If negative for COVID, they let you loose on the streets. In my case, I immediately flew up to Chiang Mai and spent this morning at Wat Umong. I always feel that I am not yet in Thailand until I am at Wat Umong…did some walking meditation (photo 3), and then rode home on my Honda Click through the CMU campus in the sunshine, and the world felt right again.

I had to blink a few times to make sure it wasn’t Sinhala.

I nearly asked you what the ‘nonThai’ script was too.

I’m happy for your joy that you are “home.”
