Homework preparation for this class:

  1. Read through all the Introduction chapter of Gair and Karunatillake (G&K), pp.xi through xxii. In particular study the material on the Pāli Alphabet and Pronunciation that we went over in the last class, pp.xxiii through xvi.
  2. Read through all the grammar material in G&K Lesson 1, pp.4-11. We will go over this material in detail in the upcoming class.
  3. Study the glossary for the first set of readings in this chapter, pp.2-4.
  4. Work through the Lesson 1 first set of readings, pp.1-2, and write down your answers.
