Homework preparation for this class:

  1. Read through all grammatical material in Lesson 3 (pp. 33-40)
  2. Study the vocabulary for the first set of readings in Lesson 3 (pp.30-32)
  3. Work through this first set of readings (pp.29-30), trying to understand how the Pāli all fits together and making your own translations.

Hello John. I could not find the Lesson 3 slides. (also checked class 5 or class 7 posts). Wondering if you posted them?

Hello Aparna,

There were no slides for lessons 3, 5, or 7, since the class time during these were spent doing exercises and no new grammatical material was presented. This will be the normal pattern for the classes.

Essentially I cannot find the ppt slides you have for Lesson 3 grammar.

  • Class 5 - was completion of Lesson 2 exercises. You shared the trilinear answers in the Class 5 post.
  • Class 6 (this post) - was Lesson 3 grammar (and a first few exercises). You had a presentation. I could not find the slides in this post (or any other post).
  • Class 7 - we completed Lesson 3 exercises. You shared the trilinear answers in the Class 7 post.

Hope this clarifies and hope I am not missing anything.
