Homework preparation for this class:

  1. Review all grammatical material in Lesson 4 (pp. 50-56)
  2. Study the vocabulary for the second set of readings in Lesson 4 (pp.59-62)
  3. Complete all the readings from Lesson 4 (pp.45-46 and pp.56-59), trying to understand how the Pāli all fits together and making your own translations.

How long this class continue ? next new session ? that i can join ?

Hello Raj. Yes, you are quite “late to the station” on this class, I’m afraid. I plan to start my next beginners Pāli class in February next year.

Meanwhile, if you have a fair bit of spare time to commit to self-study and are diligent, you could start going through the text-book A New Course in Reading Pāli, by Gair and Karunatillake, and listening to the recordings of the 9 classes that have been held so far, and doing all the reading exercises, then, when you have caught up to the rest of the group, then you would be welcome to join us. If all of that is too much, then wait for early next year.
