Without knowing each word’s declension it can be hard to create a translation, since it will not be clear which role each word plays within a sentence- subject, object, etc.

I’ll make another plea for the ‘tri-linear’translation approach to learn Pali.
(It was slightly distressing to me in the last few classes where students could read a great English rendering but didn’t know if the words were nominative or accusative, etc. …)

Ignore those declensions at your peril!!
