There have already been two or three links to the blog of Tenzin Peljor (escaped from NKT as young man, but ordained later in presence of the Dalai Lama to tibetan buddhism); but I’m reading very often in this blog and there is undoubtedly the experience of real life in this. I’d like to add some more of such links closely related to the NKT (“New Kadampa”) thing:
There are some more contemporary-looking articles there but I could not manage a good overview of this at the moment - perhaps I can improve the given link-list tomorrow or so.
(Note btw. that the monk Tenzin Peljor is currently responsible in the council of the “DBU” (German buddhist union") in the workgroup for “Ethical guidelines” and has much experience by his personal contacts to so-to-say “cult-escapers”)
