On the page SuttaCentral I was looking for the entry that shows the count of Khmer language entries. Am I missing it, or is it missing?
I don’t see ខ្មែរ on that page either, and there is no km folder in sc-data so I assume we have no Khmer texts indeed.

I’m not sure why they’re in a separate repo. Perhaps because of the orphaned copyright concerns, per that thread? The repo shouldn’t have a CC0 license if that’s the case, or needs to specify that the original is copyrighted (i.e. only the derived port is CC0).
I imagine there’s been some other discussion about it that I don’t know about that could shed some light on the details – anyone who knows more please correct me!

I think this was done at a time when Bhante was going to collaborate to do this with the domain specialist and so keeping it on some github repo made sense. And if the domain expert has permanently stepped away, then this could pay off, in that we still have the work.
Now this isn’t how legacy texts are developed.
Because the texts were not yet clean enough to import into S.C. proper
