How receiving money usually affects people? They like it, they are grateful, they spend it, they want more:)
With my wife is the same although it is a part of the deal. Like you, I wanted to ordain and I was pretty close to do it. After long talks with my wife and my son I decided to stay at home and pursue practice as a lay person. I am grateful for her understanding that she cannot expect too much regarding material wealth. In two/three years, when my son will finish uni and find a job, again the time will come for some decisions…

This is something I alway had a problem with understanding.
People hate weed but they love weed of their choice.
Growing vegitables in your fron garden is not cool.
