Came across this video today and thought I’d share it here, not sure of the authority of the source but it sounded interesting anyway. There’s definitely some types in the video that are found in the suttas.

I came here hoping to see a fish votary ascetic!
It’s all kind of tame though except the tree hanging ascetics, which made me think of Sihā Therī Thig5.3

Yes it reminded me of the sutta discussion yesterday venerable

I think the standing in fire and constantly wet clothes are as bad as the hanging in the tree, personally.
