Why does the sutta stop at dimension of nothingness?
I think there are a few suttas where the sequence stops there, e.g., DN 9. There, the dimension of nothingness is called the “peak of perception”. I guess maybe for any insight based on perception, the next sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception isn’t really a suitable domain and then there’s no perception at all in the cessation of perception and feeling.
