Nandi in the root of all things, connection with the 4 noble truths (avijja)

This question might have a tinge of dramatic irony to it but …

Could the “nandi” of mn1 would be like the “manosamphasso loke piyarūpaṁ sātarūpaṁ, etthesā taṇhā uppajjamānā uppajjati” in the DN22 line 19.30?

Is that what needs to be understood to prevent the avijja → sankhara?

with metta

manosamphassajā vedanā loke piyarūpaṁ sātarūpaṁ, etthesā taṇhā uppajjamānā uppajjati, ettha nivisamānā nivisati.
feeling born of mind contact in the world seems nice and pleasant, and it is there that craving arises and settles.

dhammasaññā loke piyarūpaṁ sātarūpaṁ, etthesā taṇhā uppajjamānā uppajjati, ettha nivisamānā nivisati.
perception of ideas in the world seems nice and pleasant, and it is there that craving arises and settles.

Yes. Nandī (delight) corresponds to craving arising and settling in whatever is perceived as pleasant and agreeable in the world, such as mind-contact and ideas.

Understanding that a saṅkhāra originates from craving triggered by a feeling born of ignorance-contact (avijjā) is as the suttas describe what destroys the influxes and prevents avijjā from conditioning saṅkhāra.

Indeed, it’s also responsible for rebirth itself, as said by the Buddha in the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta.

This dhammasaññā is delightful. :upside_down_face:
