Namo Buddhaya!,
I just started a budding translation project for Tamil language starting from MN.
Several times to clearly understand a sutta, I searched high and low. This made me think about some of my fellow Buddhists here in Tamilnadu who can only read Tamil. And tamil translations of the “Pali canon” are rare and avilable sources use mostly transliterated pali/sanskrit words which makes the understanding bit difficult.
I was reading from Suttacentral portal for quite some time. So I decided to give it a try.
I thank Ven.@sujato for his approval to translate using his English translation. I also thank Ven.@sabbamitta for the guidance and support provided. And I should mention,@HongDa is doing a fabulous job handling my slip-ups.
Driven by the desire I started the translation work using @Bilara. Now I need Reviewers and Proof readers who can correct my mistakes and guide me to attain my goal. I should thank @Snowbird for suggesting Ven.Sasanawansa Thero from SriLanka.
So, I request every person who can understand EBT and tamil to please help or to suggest someone who can help.
