What are qualifications required to be a state school teacher in Buddhism?
Can someone provide a volunteer service if s/he wish?
Anyone can volunteer provided they can give some proof they are a practicing Buddhist with a local group, clear a Working with Children Check, and attend a 1.5 hr training course, according to the Buddhist Council of NSW website.
This sounds cool, I would so do it if my time in Aus wasn’t going to be quite so impermanent!
