Nibbana unborn?

" In the Buddha’s teaching (Udana 8.3), nibbana is the “unborn, unmade, unconditioned”—the cessation of craving (tanha), which ends the kammic fuel for rebirth ia a state? When the mind, freed from greed, aversion, and delusion, no longer generates becoming (bhava)- does the mind dissapear ? What is Venerable Sujato’s translation? I am still new at finding the suttas and would appreciate help as I cannot find the texts yet

“There is, mendicants, that which is free of rebirth, free of what has been produced, made, and conditioned.
“Atthi, bhikkhave, ajātaṁ abhūtaṁ akataṁ asaṅkhataṁ.

If you know the id of the Sutta you can simply type it here and it will auto-link to the corresponding sutta on the SuttaCentral site, like this Ud 8.3

And if you know the specific segment, simply append the colon followed by the segment id, like this Ud 8.3:3.1

If you know the abbreviation, you can also just put it after the website url:

suttacentral.net/ud8.3

That will take you to a page that lists all of the translations (95% of the time)

You can also use the website search, using the abbreviation without a space:

If you are adventurous, you can also try the browser extension. That will give you a lookup box

And if you need translations not on SuttaCentral, you can use this citation tool.

BTW, don’t forget that once you are looking at one of Bhante Sujato’s translations you can type the V key to toggle the Pali on and off.
