Online Dharma: Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi to Give Special Webinar on the Abhidharma

The Tergar Meditation Community, founded by the revered meditation teacher and master of the Karma Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, has announced that the renowned American Theravada Buddhist monk and scholar, Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi will host a free webinar. The live-streamed talk, titled “Back to the Roots: Mapping the Mind through Abhidharma,” will focus on insights from the Abhidharma texts on classifications of consciousness and how to cultivate beneficial mental states.

It will be interesting to see comparative Abhidharma-Abhidhamma , especially since the tergar people have studied Asanga’s Abhidharmasamuccaya .
