Ordination Advice

A confusion: Ordination at some monastery or just as a lay person at home, and pursuit of a B.Sc. CS for Vipassanā software at home and after the completion of the pursuit, the ordination at the monastery by handing over the job of software to a lay person with 5/8 precepts.

Parents’ faith in Sikhism and the basis of Sikhism, to some extent one of the 62 wrong views because of a theistic religion(right/not?)

Why Monastery? No confusion

Hindrances: No willingness of parents. And as a son the parents’ dependence and hope in old age.

Why B.Sc. CS? For the development of Vipassanā orientation in the software industry, such as essential apps, AI, OS, etc.

Purpose: For the benefit of all, for escape from the Brahamjāla of 62 wrong views as per Digha Nikaya 1st chapter.

Hindrances:

1. In the 3rd chapter of Digha Nikaya, “The Ambattha”, 4 failure/reasons for quietting.

1\. Sustenance on the windfall of fruits.

2\. Sustenance on roots and tubers.

3\. Use of fire in the forest to help other ascetics.

4\. Construction of a 4-door house with a fire to help all ascetics from all four directions

Now, if Vipassanā software is totally aligned with the 4 ways of failure/quitting or something different because of the practice of Vipassanā.

If all Vipassanā software => open source without aids

And 2 study/working days only or alternative study days and other days for dhamma/meditation with some wholesome work at home or agricultural farms.

So, what? Convincing parents for ordination after the full development of the Vipassanā software as a gift for others.

Or just Ordination now?
