Pali Chanting and memorization Online connect PST time zone

Hi there, I am looking to connect with Kalyanamittas interested in chanting the Theravada forest tradition Pali chants for 15 mins a day early am like 5am! or late pm like 8 pm ! to slowly start memorizing and also benefit from daily chanting.

Is there a group like that or anyone interested in chanting even once a week or more ?

I believe that there is a group in South Australia who do this.
I’m not sure if this works for your timezone.

@Kaz might have more details.

Hi…

Some monasteries broadcast Puja practices online…

That’s how I managed to memorize some of the texts and also the Puja that I do at home every Sunday night and on full moon nights.

Thank you very much @Pasanna for letting me know.
Hello @aditie , we The Buddhist Society of South Australia (BSSA) are currently holding a morning chant and meditation session every morning from 6 am in Adelaide, Australia.

Ayya Santacārī Bhikkhunī usually leads the chanting, and we chant various Theravāda Buddhist chants for approximately 15 minutes, followed by a silent sitting until 7 am.
You can just join the chanting section and leave when it finishes.
I will upload our chanting book later.
Thank you very much. :folded_hands:

Thank you, Kaz, for this delightful book! I’ve been looking for a list of chants and this is better than I could have expected.

Santacari Bikkuni compiled all of, and translated some of this chanting book.

All of our small community are very proud of her for this achievement. Some of our best Dhamma sessions have been reflecting on the meanings of the chants In this book.

I look forward to mentioning your compliment about the chanting book to Santacari Bikkuni.

Please continue to enjoy the book and perhaps join us for a chanting session (and brief discourse on our lucky days) sometime if our time zones match up.

If you would like a physical copy please let me know and I can have a look at how that might work.

Sahdu!!
