Namo Buddhaya? Dear Bhante-s, everyone!
Do you have any information about the century in which the oldest Pali manuscripts were written and the century in which the manuscripts are preserved today?

Janice Stargardt has written about manuscripts found from the 5th or 6th century.

The “modern” (printed) editions are about a century old, having been made in consultation with palm-leaf manuscripts from temple collections which were about one hundred years old (?) at the time they were consulted.
