Paticca as Sahajata

Dear Dhamma Friends,

I have heard that in the Paṭṭhāna, the term “paṭicca” is equated with the term “sahajāta” in a particular context. However, I have not yet been able to locate this reference.

If this equivalence is indeed found in the Paṭṭhāna, could it imply a different interpretation of Paṭiccasamuppāda (Dependent Origination)?

Has anyone found the same reference in the Paṭṭhāna?

I believe that in the Paṭṭhāna the term ‘sahajāta’ is one of the 24 possible conditions. It’s usually translated as ‘conascence condition’, meaning two things arise at the same time.

It, of course, is similar to the basic statement of dependent origination, ‘imasmim sati idam hoti.’
