There’s a funny Ajahn Chah story in “wholehearted training” that comes to mind about the fisher that thinks fishing is not killing it starts with he is not killing, the fish killed itself, the reasoning progresses…. Eventually so on… he is catching and “caring” for frogs but other people are doing the killing in his family….. eventually he feels trouble about that, that others are killing and “he” didn’t do the killing and ordains.
