Question about the first four of the sattāvāsa (viññāṇaṭṭhiti)

This may require more discussion than a simple Q&A…

Because I’m not making much sense of the commentaries, can anyone tell me, with regard to the first four sattāvāsa or viññāṇaṭṭhiti, is the idea of the ekattakāya and ekattasaññā saying that these beings possess identical yet individuated bodies and perceptions, or rather some sort of shared, singular mass of corporeality and cognition?
