Excellent.

I use the model of a photon of light as energetic rupa as it collides with a water molecule as an example of contact/phassa in DO. The heightened valency energy expels one of the hydrogen atoms with the energy. Aversion. Then the OH molecule as ignorance is conditioned by sankhara (balance of energetic conditions) and on next contact feeling tone grasps for another hydrogen atom to find balance. It is conditioning through entropy and enthalpy.

If you consider all tangible rupa reacts this way even in aggregate form then everything experienced is a consequence of energy reaction. Nibbana is the escape from this reaction. Entropy equates to life and nibbana to death, never to be reborn. A non state of existence, non-perceptable, the state of non perception. Here’s where the big question is, what is perceiving non perception, it seems perceptible!

Wow.

  1. You’re sure how the retinas work is by ionization of water molecules?

  2. How about other 5 senses? Especially the 6th sense of the mind, where mind contact is totally independent of matter.

  3. How about Brahma gods, they can see, but do they have the same form as sensual desire beings? Like Computers, AI, video cameras, they capture light without involving water molecules.

SN7.2 may be appropriate.

In a living philosophical context of Dhamma no problem with playing while one knows there is playing.

Serious scientists not groupies they know and says the modern Science is quite a metaphysical land. A big step for Science. Although still seems very far that day when Science could realize the only true Energy sustaining all us, is the search of what is good and beauty.

When the final nature is unknown, this is a very interesting thought to reflect

the world is obsessed with the Energy for different goals. Although focusing in the meaning and reach it depends from another factors. According that, some energies should be very real facts while others only colloquial ways to name something real without more attention to waste.

Science evolves quickly although still is primitive. When scientists think in the nature of Energy, and despite this is an Unknown, they should adequate their minds into the limits of their own scientific framework. Which is logical and normal. This framework is conditioned by the Scientifical background, the culture and society. Science evolve by another ways and nobody knows if that dual nature harmful/beneficial will be solved some day.

For a Dhamma follower with enough understanding, the framework is different and deeper, and he/she knows very well the Dhamma is more advanced than Science.
